About me

Olga Rodon

Olga Rodon is a recorder player, born in Barcelona, and she is dedicated to the fields of musical performance and management. In the Conservatori Municipal de Música de Barcelona she found her vocation for music and began to have contact with early music, which has subsequently led her to live in different cities between Spain and Germany.

 

After finishing her musical degree in 2016 in Conservatorio Superior de Música in Sevilla with Vicente Parrilla, she moved to Germany to study the Master of Arts in Early Music Performance at the Hochschule für Künste Bremen with Prof. Han Tol.

In recent years she has performed with various ensembles in different concert series and festivals between both lands, such as the Festival de Música Antigua de Granada with Academia Capella de Ministers, Festival de Música Antigua de Lorca, Festival de Música Antiga dels Pirineus, among others. Apart from this, along with the ensemble Barrock’n’roll she won the first prize at the 2nd International Early Music Competition of Gijón (Spain).

In the field of musical management, she currently coordinates the project Xarxa de Músiques of the Federation Joventuts Musicals de Catalunya.
